I am a man of many trades. I studied social work at Stephen F. Austin State University and received a Master’s Degree of Social Work. I have always been called to social issues and have devoted my entire life to helping people that are less fortunate. I have worked in youth ministry, mental health, inner-city youth programs, and continue to build a career around populations of people that need counsel, direction, and empathy. I feel that each person has a story that can be told to inspire others. I have sat down to lunch with the homeless, stood in the middle of a gang riot, poured cement floors in third world countries, studied theology in Europe, served as an adult leader for weekend retreats, and built a life around faith and being who I am.

I currently live in Houston, Texas. I am the father of an awesome dog named The Great Gatsby and the late dog Bentley. I am pretty much the guy next door. I enjoy reading, blogging, and staying in tune with current events. I love live music and have a CD collection based on a range of music from any type of music that has been made. My biggest gift is that I am a dreamer. I like to steal the line from the movie Rudy. “Dreams are what make life tolerable.” I like to live my life out side the box. I view life as a journey. Everyday changes us into a new person. Our experiences build our character. I have been known to stubble on the sidelines of life. I have fallen down hard. We all fall down, but what matters is how we get up. I live by no regrets. I learn from my mistakes and openly share them with others so that they can learn from my experiences. I am also open to learn from others. I have friends from all walks of life, religions, and interest. Diversity is the most beautiful thing of this world. Color is beautiful. I strive to dedicate my life to reaching others.
